A life-size Eastern box turtle cast in solid cement, painted from photographs of the real thing down to the orange eyes.

If you grew up finding these in the woods, that is the feeling this one is after. The shell texture comes off a mold we built ourselves with 3D scanning and CAD, and iron oxide pigment goes into the cement itself, so the color runs all the way through and a scratch years from now does not show white underneath.
