Send us an object, a sketch, a logo or a 3D file. We make a latex mold from it with a 3D-printed shell, and you take it home to cast your own, or we keep it and cast copies for you.

How a custom mold works

Photos and rough measurements are all we need to quote a mold.

  1. 01

    Send us the piece or the design

    For a mold of an object, send photos and rough measurements, then ship it to us or drop it off in Nashville. For a new design, send a sketch, a logo or a 3D file.

  2. 02

    We quote the mold

    Every mold is quoted before work starts. If we model it from your design, the $300 design fee covers the 3D model and the printed master, and it is paid up front.

  3. 03

    We make the mold

    A latex mold, made from your object or from the master we print from the approved 3D model, backed by a 3D-printed shell that holds it in shape while you pour.

  4. 04

    Keep it, or let us cast

    Take the mold home and cast your own copies, or leave it with us and we cast as many as you need in solid cement, priced per piece.

  5. 05

    Ship or local pickup

    We ship the mold or your copies anywhere in the US, or you collect them from the workshop in Nashville.

What can you make a mold of?

Garden statues, ornaments, sculptures, architectural pieces and other objects you send us, or a new design we model from your sketch, logo or 3D file.

What kind of mold do I get?

A latex mold with a 3D-printed shell. The latex picks up the detail of the piece, and the rigid shell supports it so the mold keeps its shape while you pour.

Can I keep the mold?

Yes. Take it home and cast your own copies, or leave it with us and we cast them for you.

Can you cast copies for me?

Yes, in solid cement, priced per piece. Larger runs get a lower price per piece.

How much does a mold cost?

It depends on the size and detail of the piece, so every mold is quoted from your photos before work starts. Molds we model from your design include the $300 design fee, paid up front.

Do you need the original object?

For a mold of an existing piece, yes: ship it to us or drop it off in Nashville. For a new design, a sketch, logo or 3D file is enough.
