About this statue
Cast from a 3D scan of an actual Easter Island monolith, this 10-inch Moai cement garden statue is one degree of separation from the stone itself.
I refined the raw scan by hand before cutting the mold, so the solemn expression and pitted surface survive the trip intact, detail that mass-produced resin flattens out. Each piece is cast in CSA cement, hand-painted in layers, and sealed by hand in the workshop.
- Size: 10" tall, 5 lbs
- Material: CSA cement: finer detail and nearly twice the strength of Portland-based concrete
- Finish: Bonding primer, weather-resistant exterior paint, acrylic detailing, waterproof sealer
- Hide-a-key: 2" × 2" cavity in the base; also fits a standard 2×2 post for secure mounting
