Sandra Boynton Sentry Chicken, Handmade Cement Garden Statue
The bewildered sentry chicken, made in official collaboration with Sandra Boynton and cast in solid cement with her signature stamp on the back.
Translating a line drawing into three dimensions meant getting the posture exactly right, the alarm in the stance as much as the face. Each one is hand-cast in small batches from fine-detail CSA cement, then hand-painted and sealed in the studio. Limited quantities, made to order.
